This isn't everything, but it's a start...

First of all, my name is Craig--as you may have gathered by the link-- and I am a 30 year-old gay male living in Baltimore City, Maryland.  I live in the quaint NE neighborhood of Arcadia (often referred to as ArGAYdia!).  Currently, I work at a national telesolutions company based in Laurel, MD as the sole HR representative for about 250 people.  With work and school, life is stressful, but I still find time to laugh the stresses away--after all, if you're not laughing at life, you certainly aren't living it.  The picture to the left was taken a while back but I don't have any updated pics to throw up here.

My partner since 1998, Scott is pictured on the right.  Again, an older picture as we don't drink Rolling Rock and we both quit smoking over the past two years..  For anyone who has given up hope on finding that special someone, well, I found him--and on the internet of all places.  In May 2002 we purchased our first home together (I say first because I am certain a beachhouse will follow at some point).  We share our home with a 28 gallon fish tank full of fresh water exotics and our two babies Sinder and Madge.  My boy Sinder (the solid black cat) is our laid back, yet high maintenance kid.   He was found by a friend of mine back in November of 1997 and I immediately took him into my home.  It wasn't all fun and games at first as he lived in the chimney for two weeks before he finally came out and accepted all of the love.

Don't let this sweet little photo fool you as he has a tendency to go Regan McNeal on us once in a while (for those of you at a loss to what that means, go see THE EXORCIST).  This was proven when we brought home his baby sister.  Now she's not quite this small anymore and is often referred to as 'a pig in a cat's suit,' but she's our little Madge (often called GET OFF OF THE AQUARIUM now!!).  They're both really angels and they're starting to realize coexisting is much easier than attempting to eliminate the other on a daily basis.

"As the wind whistled outside the window, the man searched the dark room, desperately looking for a candle stick to offer him some light.  Finally, he found a book of matches and a candlestick and lit them.  Just as he lit the candle and extinguished the burning match, from beneath the dining room table leapt a solid black creature.  The man, startled by the attack, fell to the ground, dropping the candlestick.  From the floor, the man looked across the room and saw the eyes of the scariest creature he had ever seen.  The big black thing was laying on its side on the cold wooden floor.  After the creature had secured the man's attention, it looked over at him, pounded its fluffy tail on the floor a few times and simply said, 'MEOW!'"

In case you haven't cruised around the site, I love music--and all kinds of music.  Although I'm more a dancing fool than I am an easy listening crooner, I try to keep my ears opened to anything at least once!!  My favorite artist is Erasure and some runners-up include Kylie Minogue, Kristine W, Madonna, Pet Shop Boys, Will Young, the Sugababes, Cher, Cyndi Lauper, old New Order, and

Writing is yet another of my passions.  I'm a published poet (four different poems, one of them four times).  I haven't written much in the way of poetry in the last two years because, as you can see if you follow my links, my poetry is pretty depressing stuff.  I'm happy and it's hard to be miserable when all I want to do is smile all of the time.

"Mt. Vernon Square" is a little Baltimore-based Melrosian soap/web opera I created about five or six years ago.  I've been meaning to publish it someplace sooner, but haven't had the time.  The stories are all original and created by me, as are the characters and they are all completely fictitious.  Season One is already in full swing and it's getting pretty interesting.  My hope is to publish a new episode each Sunday (although with the demands of school and work, the serial will occasionally be preempted or delayed for a few days.  Your feedback about the storylines and characters or just your general reaction to it would be greatly appreciated. The picture to the left is one from Mt. Vernon in Baltimore, MD and is a link to the web opera.
